Wrestling

The Little Barons Youth Wrestling Club is a member of the Buckeye Valley Wrestling Family of programs. Although it is considered to be a feeder program of the Buckeye Valley High School program and run out of the high school wrestling room, open to all interested elementary-aged wrestlers (K-6th). Our program aims to meet each wrestler at his level of experience (whether he/she is new to the sport or training to be an OAC state champion), develop his/her skills, increase his understanding, and acquire a love for the sport. We value character, discipline, hard work, sportsmanship, and respect. We believe wrestling is a great vehicle to help instill those values into a child.

The Little Barons are led by head coach Alec Szanati along with a number of passionate and caring volunteers along with the high school wrestlers. Feel free to volunteer as you can, this helps ensure our Little Baron wrestlers are being taught the most effective techniques, strategies, and drills needed for success at any level of wrestling.
